Kochi repairs a partially rotted balcony balustrade using his 1toFIX All-purpose Filler Plus. See also the video clip showing the process, click here.

Compared to an epoxy repair, the repair area can usually be kept much smaller. It is sufficient to remove affected and rotten wood until timber of a sufficiently hard composition is reached. Nothing more is required. No minimum layer thickness is required to achieve the necessary final strength, and there is no need to create a 10 mm right-angled chamfer in the surface. Consequently, less filler is required.
