1toFIX All-purpose Filler Plus

Offers breathable repair solutions for wood in all layer thicknesses from 1 mm, such as when replacing rotten wood, filling holes, open joints, cracks, open knots and filling seams after laminating and partial replacements. The repairs are water- and frost-resistant.

Part of the 1toFIX timber repair system. First prime the substrate with 1toFIX Primer, then fill with 1toFIX Timber Filler Plus. Once dry, sand and smooth with 1toFIX Filler Compound.

Can be finished with all standard paint systems (linseed oil-based, synthetic or water-based). Preferably use a vapour-permeable paint.

Suitability

•        On wood.
•        Highly suitable for filling holes when repairing wood rot. Its setting strength allows for a large layer thickness and volume. Due to its rigidity, the material quickly builds up resistance, so that even vertical repairs and repairs on undersides (against gravity) and holes with multiple openings can be easily filled without the filler running off. Can be modelled well.
•        Expands the possibilities for meeting the requirements for the maintenance of historic paintwork.
•        Suitable for both exterior and interior use.

Specific features

•        Breathable: prevents moisture from becoming trapped behind the repair.
•        Almost entirely natural product: 95% bio-based and mineral content.
•        Made from wood dust: the repaired area acquires properties similar to those of the surrounding wood.
•        Very easy to use: single-component, can be applied like clay, and tools can be cleaned with water.
